WESTMINSTER, MARYLAND – Strouse was named by the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) as a 2016 Champion of Maryland Manufacturing for Accelerating Product or Process Innovation. RMI recognizes champions in manufacturing that create a positive image across seven categories: accelerating product or process innovation, increasing growth through visionary leadership, contributing to communities, creating products that improve our lives, creating a positive culture of change management, attracting and engaging STEM students to manufacturing, and employing an inclusive workforce.

Strouse designs and manufactures innovative adhesive solutions that help manufacturers solve difficult application challenges. With state of the art machinery, a highly trained and experienced workforce and a team of product development and process engineers, Strouse uses proprietary manufacturing processes that help them produce the tightest tolerance adhesive die cut solutions. These solutions help their customers to bring new products to market faster, improve product performance, reduce labor costs, improve processes, reduce returns and much more.

“At Strouse, our success has always been about three things, our people, our process, and our technology,” said Sue Chambers, President and CEO at Strouse. “It’s an honor for our entire organization to be named as a 2016 Champion of Maryland Manufacturing and it’s a testament to the dedication and innovative problem solving mindset that our entire staff brings to the table.”

“Over many years I have seen Strouse innovate to push toward advanced product applications in many different industries,” says Denise Beaver, Deputy Director at Carroll County Economic Development. “Their ability to provide prototype solutions within 48 hours is a testament to their engineering expertise and product knowledge. When their customers need a solution, Strouse delivers one quickly and efficiently.”

Engineering projects are often faced with strict deadlines. Strouse’s Sample Express program allows engineers to trial prototyped adhesive solutions to determine the optimal solution for their application.
