Electronic devices are subject to scratches during production, processing and transportation. Oftentimes these mishaps are unavoidable unless extreme care is taken by all employees from production staff, quality assurance, material handlers and delivery drivers. In the hustle and bustle of everyday manufacturing environments, it can be easy to forget the importance of preserving brand new products to appear in pristine condition. This is especially important for high value electronics devices.

That’s why Strouse has partnered with 3M to provide electronics manufacturers a new adhesive solution to protect surfaces from mishaps in all phases of the manufacturing process. 3M 87630A was designed specifically for electronic devices and touchscreens. This material protects glass, plastics, and metals from scratches but is also ultra-clear enabling quality teams to inspect surface conditions without removing the adhesive.
