It's FINALLY the first day of Spring! Soon comes warmer weather and greener pastures. With St. Patrick's Day and the first day of Spring we really are thinking green at Strouse.

3M 401+/233+ Green Masking Tape. 3M 401+/233+ Green Masking Tape is a pressure sensitive adhesive tape and can be converted at Strouse.

What does green mean to us? 3M 401+ High Performance Green Masking Tape! 3M 401+ is one of 3M's most popular masking tapes not only for it's bright green color but for it's trusted performance.

3M 401+/233+ Green Masking Tape is used in critical paint masking applications that require excellent holding and high temperature performance. 3M 401+ can withstand temperatures up to 250°F for 30 minutes (121°C). This masking tape is typically used in the automotive, specialty vehicle, and industrial markets.

3M 401+ also remains in place around cornets, including over contours and irregular surfaces. Combined with its strong resistance to paint bleed-through, 3M 401+ is an ideal product to create sharp paint lines regardless of the surface.

Using 3M 401+ Green Masking Tape Strouse created masking kits for Letterkenny Army Depot. These kits were comprised of specifically designed masking parts with a tab to cover areas of Humvees such as windshields, turn signals, headlights and much more. These pieces allowed for quick application and removal of masking during the paint process and the 3M 401+ ensures no residue is left behind. These kits doubled production for Letterkenny Army Depot and they were award the Shingo Prize Public Sector Award for "Faster to the Field" improvements. Read more about our masking kit solution...
