3M™ Dielectric Tape
3M™ Dielectric Tapes are excellent high temperature tapes for crystalline silicon (c-Si) and thin film applications. 3M™ Double Coated Dielectric Tape feature a thin polyester film for dimensional stability and improved handling with ease of diecutting and laminating.
Available 3M Dielectric Tapes:
3M™ Dielectric Tape 501W and 3M™ Dielectric Tape 1506S comprise a 1.0 mil clean low outgassing acrylic adhesive and a 2.0 mil silicone coated white polyester liner. It is used in applications where excellent adhesion and low outgassing and ionics characteristics are desired.
3M™ Double Coated Dielectric Tape 3514 features a thin polyester film for dimensional stability and improved handling with ease of diecutting and laminating. 3514 features a medium-firm acrylic adhesive that provides a combination of high wet grab and initial adhesion and good shear holding power to a wide variety of materials.
3M™ Insulating Tape 51018 has 1 mil PET backing with adhesion promoting treatment on one side and a 1 mil low outgassing acrylic adhesive on the other with a 1 mil Silicone free PET liner
