Dressings
Strouse offers single use, Island, Foam and Multilayer Dressings and Pads. Die cut Dressings and Pads can be manufactured using transparent films, woven and non-woven fabrics, conformable materials and adhesives.
• Island- Wound fluid containment, post-op protection. An absorbent pad with an adhesive backer, creates a sterile environment at the wound site and offers protection against additional trauma.
• Foam- High absorbency results from the use hydrophillic foam. This reduces the need for frequent changes. The die cut can be supplied with adhesive along the dressing's perimeter.
• Multilayer- Ambulatory pads used in the prevention of bed and pressure sores, assist in the containment of bodily fluids. The ability to die cut woven and non-woven materials into specific shapes will create better protection and control for the patient. Having up to five layers, bonded together, allows for independent motion of the layers for improved overall performance.
