The Strouse Corporation engineers and manufactures pressure sensitive adhesive parts and labels, optically clear films, protective maskings, 6 color labels, laminates, liners, foams and self adhesives.

Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for the safe operation of all of the production equipment, quality and quantity of product and production employee supervision, training and development.

This individual will take a lead roll in the continous improvement planning for the production department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules.

• Develop and implement an action plan for areas of ineffiencies. (production, equipment and personnel).

• Coordinate production operations and maintain effective quality procedures and safety regulations.

• Provide leadership and direction to subordinates performing daily duties .

• Supervise employees to accomplish productivity, safety, quality and efficiency goals.

• Monitor production schedule and coordinate staff to meet unforseen conditions.

• Communicate well with other department personnel and mangement.

• Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by manager.

Required Skills:
•  5+ years experience serving as a manager in the Converting manufacturing industry.

• High School diploma or G.E.D.

• This individual will need to have good problem solving skills, be mechanically inclined, possess a strong safety conscience and a good work ethic.

• Experience with monitoring all control procedures.

• Strong general computer skills a must.

• Able to communicate effectively, get along with coworkers & management and deal effectively & professionally under pressure.
