Process Development Engineer
The Strouse Corporation - Westminster, MD (Baltimore, Maryland Area)
Job Description
Process Development Engineer for complex custom die cut adhesive products. Reports to the Director of Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:
(1) Manage the launch of new products and processes to meet customer demand and Strouse sales strategies.
(2) Lead team to implement 5S principals.
(2) Participate in weekly product development meetings with input on related processes.
(3) Raw Material Sourcing.
(4) Manage new equipment installations and performance related design changes.
(5) Participate in implementation and improvement of quality procedures as specified by The Strouse Corporation Quality Management System.
(6) Keep abreast of new industry technologies and materials.
(7) Support Sales Engineers through joint sales calls.

Desired Skills & Experience
"Must Have" Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude.
An understanding of process capability, DOE's, PFMEA's and PPAP's.
Listen to production, always respond, implement what makes sense.
BSME or Associate Degree with directly related experience.
2D AutoCAD
Desired Skills:
SQC Pack or Minitab.
Familiarity with vision systems.
Geometric Tolerancing.
