Small Quantity Output and Rapid Response
The Strouse Corporation was given a unique opportunity by a customer who needed a small number of piezo gaskets die cut from 3M’s VHB foam bonding tape. Using a rotary die-cut setup would have been costly for producing this small number of parts. Webbing up the expensive VHB material would cut into profits as waste. Strouse provided the solution: Laser Die Cutting. Strouse created a design that nested the parts in a tighter configuration. This, combined with using the Laser, saved the client costly tooling charges, set-up time and valuable material.
